Shangri-La | Today at the Bottomless Lake, there is sunshine and heavy rain|||🌈 The Bottomless Lake is on the way from Shangri-La to Daocheng Yading. Luckily, we chartered a car. There were countless falling rocks along the way, some damaged roads, and highways that were built by blasting through mountains. It's really not easy, and I wouldn't dare to drive there myself. 🚘We set off at 9:15 and arrived around 11:30, just in time for a brief sunny period. When the sun was out, it felt warm, and I was comfortable in just a shirt and a shell jacket, neither cold nor hot. But two heavy rains after 2 pm froze me to the bone. So here come some super practical TIPS: 1️⃣ Definitely bring an umbrella if you're coming recently!! It's best if it doesn't rain, but an umbrella can be a lifesaver! 2️⃣ A shell jacket is the best choice; it's quick-drying, not too hot, light, and it's a bit colder here than in Shangri-La. 3️⃣ I recommend wearing rain boots, so you can freely wade through water, which is too much fun. 4️⃣ Try to charter a car to come here, don't drive yourself, the road conditions are too taxing. The Bottomless Lake is very beautiful both on sunny and rainy days, and there are relatively few people. Today, I felt that there were only about a hundred and eighty people in the entire scenic area, so most of the great experiences are due to the small number of people~
