The real-life fairyland of Wangxian Valley in Shangrao. I felt like I was in a magical place. It rained a lot in Jiangxi, and I thought I wouldn't be able to go. But the day I planned to leave, it was sunny, so I drove straight there. I stayed for two or three days, and it didn't rain. The weather was great, and I was lucky that it was only a little cloudy. There are a lot of complaints online, but I didn't think it was that bad. It's beautiful, like a fairyland. There are beautiful views everywhere, and you can take great photos. It's really special, not just an ordinary ancient town. My whole family liked it. There is a lot of food, and a whole street of snacks. The food is good, and the winter melon tea and beef pastry are delicious. The prices are reasonable. But I have to remind you. We stayed at a guesthouse in Wangxian Valley, and I have to say, it's not very family-friendly if you have a lot of luggage. We had to carry two suitcases and five or six bags from the parking lot to the guesthouse, which took 10 minutes. We had to carry everything ourselves. One of the guesthouse staff helped us, and he didn't charge us, but we still gave him a tip. It was really hard work. I was exhausted just walking with my child. So if you have a lot of luggage, you can stay outside the scenic area. But we stayed in a room with a big wooden slide, and my child had a great time. It was worth it. The location is great, right in the center of Wangxian Valley. Behind it is Wangxian Bridge, a great place to take photos. Two days and one night is enough. It's not very big, and you can see everything in a day.
