An insta-famous dessert shop from the canals of Amsterdam, Polaberry has finally made its way to Shanghai! Located near Tianzifang on West Jianguo Road, this shop is famous for their intricately decorated strawberries dipped in Belgian chocolate Most of the sweets here are made with imported ingredients on the same day they’re put out for sale, ensuring freshness with each bite.  The interior of the shop looks features baby pink walls with fresh flowers. There’s also a glass room and garden area where you can enjoy the strawberries and snap some photos. If you’re looking for a special gift, Polaberry has those too. Gift boxes range in price from 68 RMB for 4 strawberry creations to 388 RMB for 25. There are 15 different types of strawberries and other fruits to choose from, each with their own unique flair. Some options include milk chocolate strawberries sandwiched between waffle cookies, white chocolate strawberries with red sugar crystals, and chocolate covered pomegranate slices. Also available is the super hard-to-come-by unicorn pop, which must be reserved one day in advance via the shop’s official WeChat account. If you miss the chance to reserve, you might be able to snag one by lining up right when the store opens.
