Poly Grand Theatre b

Poly Grand Theatre by Tadao Ando is an architecture gem hidden out of town in Jiading district. The Japanese architect is famous for its minimalism and the use of concrete structure. The theatre is in a box shape made of glass and aluminum wall with a tunnel going through the center of the “box”. The tunnel creates a series of open space linked with irregular shapes and lines. It is located by a man-made lake which makes the building more photogenic and a better view on a sunny day.
