Fairmont Peace Hotel

Awesome time hanging out and staying at the Fairmont Peace hotel in Shanghai for my birthday. I took the tour of the hotel which was offered in English and it was very interesting to learn about the long and storied history of the hotel and all the world leaders and celebrities who had stayed there in the past. I went to the Jazz bar in the evening and listened to some good music while sipping on cocktails. It kind of gave me that old-timey Shanghai feel. The architecture in the building is really awesome, it has that quality and attention to detail that modern buildings just don’t have anymore. It’s no wonder why so many US Presidents stay here when they visit Shanghai. The view from the rooftop cafe is quite amazing and not to mention the staff was always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend! #urbanexplorer
