Shanghai's Water Village, Zhujiajiao Shanghai's only water village, Zhujiajiao🌳 Zhujiajiao is a small water village about an hour's subway ride from downtown Shanghai. Bridges are built throughout the village to cross the river that divides the village. I even saw people using ferry boats for transportation! While crossing a bridge in Zhujiajiao, I was mesmerized by the beautiful sunset. As the sun set, the buildings gradually came on, and it quickly became dark.
