Secret History of 1920’s Shanghai

#tripblazers #urbanexplorer #shanghai One of my favourite things to do is to find the hidden details of the history of Shanghai. One discovery I made at the weekend was in the sister building of the Metropolo hotel. Opposite is a residential building, where in the lobby (through the original revolving door) you can still see the list of residents that used to live here in the 1920’s, including Umrigar, a famous cricketer at the time.
