Dreams come true in Shanghai!

This is the first time I have visited Shanghai’s Disney resort. A few friends and I were able to go in February before the closure of Shanghai. Of you’re in the area it’s definitely worth a visit! I don’t think you are ever too old for Disney. There was plenty of rides for us adults, my favorite being ‘TRON’ in the futuristic part of the park. There was also a toy story themed part, a pirates part (featuring a pirates of the Caribbean ride I went on about 5 times), a water side , and many rides for the children which feature story telling, like Peter Pan on Winnie the Pooh. Of course all of the stories and characters spoke in Chinese. The snacks are noodles, corn , soup, sausages and plenty of restaurants about. The ticket for the park (we recommend 2 days) is about 650¥ per person, we went on a ‘peak’ day, which wasn’t too busy in February due to the cold. If you are planning to go, please do it in the spring! The winter was too cold, we couldn’t feel our toes or hands! We stayed in a hotel near the resort, which offered a free bus at 8AM. At this time not many people were in the park and we got to go on a few rides with little wait time. I would recommend staying for the fireworks show in the evening on one day, as it was great! #disney #shanghai #themepark
