[Shanghai Disney] Shanghai city and Shanghai Disneyland

I went to Shanghai Disneyland for sightseeing! 🐭✨ ① About Shanghai Disneyland ② About Shanghai's tourist attractions ③ What to prepare I'm going to create a TripMoments to record these three points. 📝 ~~① About Shanghai Disneyland~~ ◯ Hotel I stayed at the Toy Story Hotel. 🏨 ⇨ "Early entry the next day" is included as a guest benefit, so it's highly recommended for those who want to get into the park as early as possible. ◎ The first bus from the hotel to the park apparently leaves at 7:05, but there was a long line, so I walked from the hotel to the park (it took about 15 minutes). The park opened at 8:30 that day, but I think early entry guests started entering just after 7:00. 🫢 ◯ Attraction 🌟 Zootopia (Zootopia Hot Pursuit) After entering the park with early entry, I first joined the crowds and headed to the Zootopia area! We were able to enter the area smoothly, but by the time we arrived at the attraction, the wait time had grown to about 30 minutes. 👀 ⇨After general admission opened, the wait time to enter the Zootopia area was about 50 minutes, plus the wait time for the attraction itself was about 100 minutes, so I recommend heading to the Zootopia area first thing in the morning! 🌟Seven Dwarfs Mine Train After enjoying the Zootopia area, we rode the Seven Dwarfs roller coaster. 🎢 The wait time was listed as 60 minutes, but we actually only waited about 30 minutes. Since wait times exceed 120 minutes around lunchtime and evening, we recommend riding early in the morning. ◎ 🌟 Pirates of the Caribbean I was looking forward to seeing Pirates of the Caribbean at Shanghai Disneyland! 🏴☠️ As I was preparing for my trip, so many people recommended Pirates of the Caribbean, my expectations were high, and it exceeded them all! The immersive experience of the attraction was incredible, beyond words. 🫢 There are apparently two random endings, so I recommend riding it multiple times. ◎ 🌟 TRON Lightcycle Power Run I rode this ride without knowing the original Tron story, but as it was my first time riding a motorcycle-style roller coaster, I enjoyed it more than I expected! The maximum speed is said to be 95 km/h, so if you want to experience high speeds, you should definitely try a Tron attraction! 🌟 Rex's Racer This attraction is also available at Hong Kong Disneyland. I was able to experience the thrill of a stable floating sensation...! The wait times are significantly longer than at Hong Kong Disneyland, so we recommend planning your ride during your free time and balancing it with other attractions like Zootopia and Pirates of the Caribbean. ◎ ~~② About Shanghai's Tourist Attractions~~ On this trip to Shanghai, we visited the following attractions✈️ ・Yuyuan Garden ・Wukang Road ・The Bund, etc. We enjoyed shopping and dining at each attraction🛍️🍽️ ・13DE MARZO (Wukang Road) ・Qingzhi Hushou Fang (Wukang Road) ・CHAGEE ・MINISO, etc. We recommend researching cute shops, cafes, and other attractions on social media and planning your itinerary in advance. ◎ ~~③ What to Prepare~~ Finally, here are some apps and other things you should prepare before your trip to Shanghai📝 ・eSIM ⇨I purchased an eSIM card through trip.com that can also be used for Instagram and LINE! ・Alipay (Alipay) ⇨ I downloaded the app and linked my credit card while I was in Japan. Online payments are so common that I didn't use cash even once while I was in Shanghai, so I recommend preparing in advance. ◎ ・WeChat ⇨ I downloaded WeChat and pre-set up WeChat Pay (linked my credit card) in case Alipay wasn't available, but I ended up paying with Alipay so I never used it. 🫢 ・DiDi ⇨ I pre-downloaded the taxi-hailing app "DiDi" and linked my credit card. Since you need to enter your destination in Chinese when hailing a taxi, I recommend searching for the Chinese translation of your destination online and copying and pasting it. ◎ (Example) Shanghai Toy Story Hotel ⇨ Shanghai Toys General Mobilization Hotel ・Baidu Maps ⇨ I pre-downloaded the map app "Baidu Maps" for use in Shanghai.
