Zhujiajiao through my eyes

To be honest, when we went to Zhujiajiao, I was skeptical. We'd previously visited the "Venice of China" in Dalian, and it didn't particularly inspire me. There were tons of people, but that's okay. The main thing is, I didn't find much soul in the place. 😄 As strange as it may sound, that's how it is. Arriving at Zhujiajiao, we bypassed the tourist entrance and went into the area where the locals live. It was so wonderful. You walk among the old buildings, people living their lives, some cooking, others washing. Everything is so peaceful. 😍 Then, of course, we reached the tourist areas, where a ton of shops and crowds of people immediately appeared. So if you're planning to visit this place, my advice is: as soon as you've passed the main tourist streets, turn into a hidden corner and take a stroll there. And if you visit a local cafe with a river view, you're guaranteed zen. 🚇How to get to Zhujiajiao? You'll need metro line 17 (brown), Zhujiajiao station.
