👣 Stroll through the Yangpu Bridge Riverside Green Space, walk on the Xiepu Road pedestrian bridge, and beneath the bridge at the ferry plaza stands an extraordinary installation. 💎 The shape is a regular quadrangular prism (a cuboid with a square base), dark black in the middle section, silver shiny on the upper part, dignified and grand with a touch of coolness. Framed with Yangpu Bridge, it has a unique charm. 📣 This is a lighthouse, with the "01" markings on all four sides that seem to have a story to tell. 🗣 According to Baidu: In 2016, when planning the East Bank Riverside space, the relevant departments organized a "Global Design Competition for Shanghai East Bank Open Space Lighthouses." The notice stated that 24 lighthouses would be built along the east bank of the Huangpu River, echoing the beautiful Bund. Climbing the lighthouse observation platform offers a panoramic view of both sides of the river.
