The audience included not only elderly music enthusiasts but also hardworking workers who took advantage of their short breaks to enjoy the music. The performance lasted one hour. The venue is small, with good sound quality. Tickets cost 30 yuan. During the break or after the concert, the audience can enjoy coffee and tea. According to the introduction, the Shanghai Concert Hall's lunchtime concerts are the only salon-style music concert brand in the country that is regularly open to the public on weekdays at noon. The performances are diverse in form and style, covering traditional Chinese music and Western classical music. By the end of September 2025, more than 2,500 concerts have been successfully held, with an audience of 385,000 people.
