[Shanghai] Relaxing Spots 🌼 | Stroll through World Expo Park and Have a Weekend Lunch at W Coffee 🍴

Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park is so lush and quiet, it's hard to believe it's in the middle of the city. After a leisurely stroll through the park, I had lunch at the attached cafe, W Coffee SH Garden Bistro (World Expo Park Branch). ☕ ⸻ 🌳 The atmosphere of Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park The park is so spacious, even just walking around is refreshing. Since bicycles are prohibited in this area, I mainly enjoy a leisurely stroll on foot. 🚶♀️ Even though the sun is strong, there's plenty of shade, so it's surprisingly cool. Even in the middle of summer, it feels like a comfortable summer resort, and you'll often see people pitching tents and having picnics. One thing to note: the automatic sprinklers sometimes spray water onto the sidewalk, so be careful not to get splashed. 😅 ⸻ ☕ W Coffee SH Garden Bistro (世博公园店) Even among the W Coffee SH cafe chains common in Shanghai, this one is a rare location that serves a full meal! Enjoy a leisurely lunch or coffee in a glass-walled space surrounded by greenery. 🌿 I ordered: • Soufflé Pancakes (78 NTD) • Orange Cinnamon Latte (35 NTD) The pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet, with just the right amount of filling. The latte had a strong cinnamon aroma and was delicious. ☕✨ What's more, they also offer a nice bonus: free fries if you write a review of the restaurant online! 🍟 By the way, it gets very crowded on weekends and during meal times, so it's best to avoid peak hours or aim for a counter seat. Even if they say it's full, there's often a seat at the counter, so don't give up and try taking a number! The coffee is, as you'd expect from a specialty shop, with excellent aroma and flavor. However, be aware that the food items may not be to Japanese tastes. (The fries in particular have a slightly unique flavor...lol) ⸻ 💡 Summary • Stroll through the greenery and then take a break at a garden cafe for a relaxing holiday! 🌿 • W Coffee SH (Shibo Park Branch) is a rare place where you can also dine! • Bicycles are prohibited in the park and beware of the sprinklers. 🚫💦 • Beware of crowded cafes!
