Shanghai Expo Hotel, surprisingly good!

This was my first time staying at a hotel in the Shanghai Expo area. I remembered there used to be an InterContinental here, but the current hotel also has a proper and classy atmosphere 👍. As a Global Guest member, I was delighted to receive a free upgrade to a suite room! However, there was a slight odor in the room, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the hotel seemed aware of it and provided an air purifier, so their response was commendable. Everything else was perfect! I was especially surprised by the "Night Shanghai" solo dance performance held in the lobby every evening at 7 PM 😭. It had an authentic Shanghai vibe, and just watching it immersed me in the atmosphere. The lobby design exudes luxury, and relaxing at the lobby bar was a great choice. The area around the Expo is also pleasant for a stroll, making it convenient for sightseeing.
