Spectacular example of modern architecture 1000 Trees, 天安千树 (Tiān’ān Qiānshù)

Shanghai is home to some of the most striking examples of modern architecture. However, one city stands out for its creative blend of nature and architecture: 1000 Trees, located on the banks of the Suzhou River in Shanghai's Putuo district. Located very close to the city center, this structure is easily accessible by both metro and bus, and is just a few minutes' walk from Jiangning Road Metro Station. 1000 Trees was designed by the world-renowned British architecture firm Heatherwick Studio.
