It originally started in Korea, but it became a hit in Shanghai because there are many branches. The pink branch here is the West Nanjing branch. It’s just a few steps from MRT Exit 4, where you’ll see people lining up in front of the store as soon as it opens. The store lets customers enter in rounds, but the wait isn’t long. Inside, it’s decorated in a luxurious European style with two floors to choose from (the rooftop upstairs is more suitable for winter). It’s filled with a dazzling array of desserts. You can pick up a tray and point to the items you want to the staff (which can be a bit hectic). Desserts start at 9 yuan, or about 40 baht. Baked goods in the store include Pistachio Croissant, Raspberry Cream Tart, or Butter Caramel Tart—all look delicious. The pieces are large, filled generously, with smooth cream and not overly sweet. They go perfectly with coffee. The drinks are served generously, the prices are reasonable, not too expensive, and the baked goods are fresh and new.
