Swimming Experience at Shanghai Bund W Hotel

My experience swimming at the Bund W Hotel was overall suitable for taking photos but not ideal for serious exercise～ 🏊‍♀️ Pool Facilities and Environment ✨ Outdoor Pool: The outdoor pool is 1.1 meters deep with truly stunning views! You can swim while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Bund. Unfortunately, it closes at 7 PM, so you can’t enjoy it for long. ✨ Indoor Pool: When I went on a weekday evening, the indoor pool was too crowded to swim comfortably. Probably because of summer vacation, many parents brought their kids, making it noisy and hard to swim quietly. 💁‍♀️ Changing Room Experience The women’s changing room is quite small and a bit confusing to navigate. The toiletries inside have a sweet melon fragrance, which got a bit overwhelming after a while. What disappointed me most was the slippers provided—they were flip-flops and really uncomfortable to wear. I even heard other ladies nearby complaining about not being used to flip-flops, so I’m not the only one feeling this way. 🌟 Summary Overall, although the Bund W Hotel pool offers nice views, it’s not ideal for swimming exercise or changing room experience. I probably won’t go back next time and will look for a place better suited for serious swimming. If any ladies want to go for photos, choose a less crowded time to visit the outdoor pool—the scenery is definitely very photogenic. But if you want to swim seriously for exercise, it’s better to pick another place.
