My Amazing Trip to Shanghai Disneyland 🇨🇳✨

#shanghai 1. We started our journey by taking the train from Ulaanbaatar to Zamyn-Uud, then flew directly from Ereen to Shanghai. The total cost to get there was around 500,000 MNT. When direct flights aren’t available, you can also take a sleeper bus to Beijing and fly from there — the price difference isn’t significant. 2. In Shanghai, instead of staying in a hotel downtown, we rented an apartment. For 3 people staying 4 nights, the cost per person was about 320,000 MNT. It was super clean, cozy, and close to the metro. We chose the place after reading reviews. I highly recommend staying around the Jing’an area — it’s very convenient. 3. Attractions in Shanghai are generally expensive, so we booked our tickets through Trip.com about 10 days in advance. Aside from the attractions, everything else was reasonably priced. Compared to Beijing, Shanghai felt more expensive in terms of sightseeing. 4. Disneyland tickets were around $59 USD for one day. We were prepared for long lines, but since it was a weekday in October (not a school holiday), we entered at 9 AM and managed to go on all the rides by 4 PM. If you’re in Shanghai, Disneyland is a must-visit! Just make sure to eat well beforehand — food inside is pricey. A single meal was about 120 yuan, but it was tasty and worth trying if you’ve budgeted for it. Also, wear comfortable shoes — the park is huge, and you’ll be walking a lot! 😅 5. The metro is incredibly convenient — it gets you anywhere you need. While you can use the Didi app for taxis, be cautious. Some drivers take long routes or overcharge tourists. I got tricked once, and that was enough for me to avoid taxis afterward. 6. The Oriental Pearl Tower and the aquarium are close to each other, so you can visit both in one trip. 7. The wax museum mainly featured Chinese celebrities, but the Marvel section was really impressive. You can combine this with the Pearl Tower and aquarium in a single day. 8. Nanjing Road and The Bund are also close together. Do your shopping at Nanjing, then walk to The Bund and take a night cruise to see Shanghai lit up. The boat ride was around $20 USD — totally worth it! 9. The Shanghai Wild Animal Park is located in the outskirts near Pudong. Head out early in the morning because it closes early due to the sun setting sooner in Shanghai. You can ride a bus through areas with freely roaming animals — it’s a unique experience! 10. On the way back, we flew to Beijing and stayed there for a night. Personally, I liked Beijing even more than Shanghai. In Beijing, we stayed near Wangfujing Street to explore that area. 11. Finally, we got a direct ticket from Beijing to Ereen, which made the return trip less exhausting.
