Top 7 Must-Ride Attractions at Shanghai Disneyland

Having been to Shanghai Disneyland more than three times, I’ll share everything from A to Z. It’s a must-visit spot on your Shanghai trip and the largest Disneyland in Asia. Recently, a Zootopia-themed area was added, which has increased the number of visitors. ✔️ Recommended Rides 1. Tron Tron is the fastest ride at Shanghai Disneyland, reaching speeds of 100 km/h. It’s a ride where you lean forward as if riding a motorcycle. 2. Pirates of the Caribbean This ride is highly recommended by many. It’s similar to the Sinbad’s Adventure ride at Lotte World in Korea, but the screen quality is so good that it really feels like you’re inside the sea. 3. Soaring Over the Horizon This is the ride with the longest wait time at Shanghai Disneyland. On the Horizon ride, you sit in a chair and experience famous cities around the world in 4D. 4. Roaring Rapids Roaring Rapids is a water ride, so it doesn’t operate in the cold winter. It’s similar to the Amazon Express at Everland in Korea but faster and splashes more water. 5. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train This ride is themed around Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. You ride a mine train racing through the mining area. It’s slower than Tron, but I found it faster and more fun than expected, especially since I rode it when it was raining. 6. Rex’s Racer This ride is also at Hong Kong Disneyland. The ride duration is surprisingly short. It’s somewhat like a Viking ship ride. 7. Zootopia Hot Pursuit Zootopia Hot Pursuit is themed around solving the missing gazelle case with Nick and Judy in a police car. The VR visuals are more fun and vivid than expected. Despite the long wait time, the story about why you’re chasing the villains is well crafted, making the wait enjoyable and time fly by. ✔️ Parade The parade times vary daily, so be sure to check the Disney app for the schedule on the day you visit. ✔️ Illuminate! A Nighttime Celebration Fireworks Shanghai Disneyland holds fireworks twice at 8:00 PM and 9:15 PM during holidays and vacation seasons.
