Who understands the joy of waking up by the Bund and opening your eyes to a stunning river view? 💖 This time, staying at Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund, the experience was absolutely amazing, and I have to share it with you all! 📍 The hotel location is incredible, right on the Huangpu River in North Bund, facing the skyscrapers of Lujiazui across the river. The historic architecture of the Bund is also within close reach, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Waibaidu Bridge. Whether for photos or a stroll, it’s super pleasant 🚶 There’s also a nearby subway station, making travel very convenient. 🏨 Stepping into the hotel, I was instantly attracted by its environment. Surrounded by bamboo groves, the hotel is serene and quiet, a sharp contrast to the bustling city outside, giving a feeling of a hidden sanctuary in the city. The lobby is filled with a faint essential oil fragrance, and soothing music instantly relaxes your mood—this atmosphere is simply perfect. 🛏️ The guest room is my favorite part! This time I stayed in the Romantic Riverside View Pool Room. The room is spacious and bright, with a minimalist yet luxurious decor. Upon entering, the huge panoramic window immediately catches your eye, offering an unobstructed view of the charming scenery along both sides of the Huangpu River. Watching boats during the day and admiring the dazzling lights at night, every moment is breathtaking. Next to the bed is a super romantic pool; soaking in the warm water with champagne in hand while gazing at the river view—that’s my dream vacation life 🍾 🍽 The dining is also excellent. The Haiyi Western Restaurant offers a rich semi-buffet breakfast. Besides the usual Western dishes, there are special Chinese snacks. Highly recommend the pork ribs with rice cake—the ribs are crispy outside and tender inside, the rice cake is soft and sweet, paired with a special sauce, every bite is super satisfying. The rooftop TOPS bar is a perfect spot to enjoy the night view. Order a signature cocktail, feel the river breeze, and take in the sparkling night scenes of the Bund and Lujiazui—the atmosphere is on point. But note, TOPS bar will be closed for renovation starting February 15, 2025, so if you want to visit, please check with the hotel in advance~ 💆‍♀️ The Banyan Tree Spa is also a must-try. Located on the first floor, Banyan Tree Spa maintains the brand’s high quality. The signature Thai massage, combined with carefully blended massage oils and skilled therapists, completely melts away all fatigue. The hotel also has a 700㎡ heated swimming pool and a fully equipped gym on the third basement level, so whether swimming or working out, you can fully enjoy yourself. 💁‍♀️ The service is impeccable—from the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt room service, the staff are very professional and attentive. Any request is handled immediately, truly making you feel at home. Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund is truly a hidden gem hotel that combines beautiful views, delicious food, comfort, and excellent service.
