A cost-effective 5-star riverside hotel on the Bund

I've stayed here for a few days every year for the past few years, and this time I stayed for three nights in a row. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the riverside park on the Bund. The Oriental Pearl Tower is to the right of the main entrance, and the "Big Three" are visible across the river. The view of the Huangpu River from the window is unobstructed, including the mouth of the Suzhou River, the famous Waibaidu Bridge, and the Monument to the Liberation of Shanghai. The room is spacious enough, the large bathtub is very comfortable, and the facilities are constantly being improved. The breakfast is as rich and exquisite as ever. The beef congee is flavorful, the pastries are tempting, and the fried dumplings are juicy. The lunch buffet has a dazzling array of raw and cooked seafood, enough to whet anyone's appetite. I will definitely come back next spring!
