The best cherry blossom park in Shanghai

Gucun Park is considered the best cherry blossom 🌸 park in Shanghai. Getting there is easy; you can take the 🚇 subway line 7 to Gucun Park station and walk a little further. The park is very spacious and features almost every cherry blossom 🌸 species that can be grown in China. In fact, you could say it has nearly every species. However, the blooming periods of each species may vary. When we visited in mid-March 2025, almost all species were in bloom. Inside the park, you can take close-up photos with the cherry blossom trees, but please be careful not to pick or bend the branches. There is also a Ferris wheel, a team park, and a dinosaur zone.
