It also features an observation deck, revolving restaurant, museum, and other facilities, attracting many tourists. 📕【Spot 3】: People’s Square Shanghai People’s Square is located at 185 People’s Avenue, Huangpu District, Shanghai. It is the political, economic, cultural, tourism center, and transportation hub of Shanghai, as well as one of the city’s most important landmarks. The Municipal Government Building symbolizes democracy and justice, with a total construction area of 87,000 square meters; the Shanghai Museum’s design reflects the concept of “round sky and square earth” and houses 120,000 precious artifacts; the Shanghai Grand Theatre, designed by a French architect, has 1,800 seats. ⛺【Spot 4】: Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Starting from Zhongshan East 1st Road in the east to Tibet Middle Road in the west, it stretches 1,033 meters. The eastern extension begins at Zhongshan East 1st Road and extends to Henan Middle Road, totaling 495 meters. It gathers many fashion brands and long-established stores, making it a great shopping destination, including First Department Store, Daimaru Department Store, Shimao Plaza, and more, catering to different consumer needs. During the Qing Dynasty Daoguang period, the temple base gradually expanded, and more palace buildings were added. The main buildings inside the temple include the Main Hall, Yuanchen Hall, Parents’ Hall, and twelve other halls, covering a total area of about 3,000 square meters. Entering through the ceremonial gate, the two wings on both sides of the square are two stories high. Opposite the ceremonial gate on the central axis is Huo Guang Hall, connected behind to the Tai Sui Hall. Exiting Tai Sui Hall leads to the rear courtyard, with the City God Hall in front, the Guan Sheng Hall on the west side, and the Wen Chang Hall on the east side.
