Spring Equinox Outing to Qiantan

Qiantan Park and Youcheng Park feel like they are connected, located by the Huangpu River, with a distant view of Xuhui West Bank across the river. The newly built parks have very new facilities, including skateboard ramps, bike paths, and running tracks, perfect for fitness enthusiasts to burn calories. The parks are planted with many flowers, and right now the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Unfortunately, these cherry trees were planted not long ago, so although the flowers bloom abundantly on each tree, the trees themselves have not grown large yet and lack the graceful shape of mature trees. In a few years, when the trees have fully grown, this cherry blossom forest should be even more beautiful. The park is quite popular with people exercising, walking their kids, walking their dogs, or just daydreaming. It’s a great place for a leisurely stroll and to enjoy the river breeze.
