Located in the city center, Jing’an Sculpture Park is probably the most convenient place to enjoy cherry blossoms in Shanghai. You can take Metro Line 13 to the Natural History Museum Station or Line 2 to Nanjing West Road Station, and it’s quite easy to walk from either. The cherry blossoms are mainly concentrated near Gate 1 and are already beautifully blooming, with a soft pink hue that looks super dreamy! However, weekends and afternoons tend to be very crowded, so if you want to take great photos, it’s best to go earlier. Besides cherry blossoms, the park also has a large area of tulips. The yellow ones are blooming now, giving off a strong spring vibe. Also, the February star—the plum blossoms—are starting to fade but still smell wonderful, with a refreshing fragrance as you walk by.
