[Shanghai] Shining in Gold! Jing'an Temple

Jing'an Temple in Shanghai is large and gleaming gold. The weather wasn’t great on the day I visited, but it was still incredibly beautiful ☺️ You can enter for 50 yuan. (Payment is easy with a quick electronic transaction) Everyone was tossing coins toward a small tower-like structure in the third photo! So, I imitated the locals and threw some coins from my wallet in too! The temple is very large, but I think you can comfortably explore it in about an hour. The first photo was taken from a nearby pedestrian bridge! I think this is the best spot for photos.
