The trip from Pudong Airport to downtown takes about 45 minutes. I recommend taking the Maglev train, which goes all the way to 📍 Longyang Station. The fare is about 50 HKD. I bought the Maglev train ticket on Trip.com, and it was super convenient to use right after purchase! After buying on the app, just scan the QR code at the station machine to get a physical ticket, then use the physical ticket to tap in at the gate. If you don’t want to call a ride, you can also take their subway. 📍 Head straight to the first attraction—Wukang Road How can you come to Shanghai and not visit Wukang Road? Wukang Road is definitely Shanghai’s No.1 city walk route! Besides the famous Wukang Building, this area is full of artistic vibes, with many coffee shops, handmade stores, and local shops along the way. Walking for two to three hours will pass by quickly. Every shop is very unique, making it a top spot for photos and check-ins! 📷 📍 Second attraction—Yuyuan Garden and City God Temple If Wukang Road is the top city walk choice, Yuyuan Garden is definitely where you can feel old Shanghai the most. Yuyuan Garden and City God Temple are nearby, with buildings full of rich historical atmosphere and very distinctive. As a Hong Konger, how can you not come to pray and draw a fortune stick? I heard the City God Temple is super effective! The escape room I chose had live NPCs chasing us, and the game mechanisms were carefully designed, making it very fun to play! I joined a group, with 8 players in total. The comedians’ bad jokes were quite on point, and the audience was very engaged. The performers also interact with the audience, making it a very novel and relaxing experience! The staff are very nice. The average price is about 300 HKD per night, and the stay was super comfortable.
