First time at Shanghai Disneyland

If this isn’t the best way to visit Disneyland🏰!! We hit 6 popular rides before 10:00 AM. How did we do it? But we did it, so save this plan and follow along 🤩 . Tip 1: Buy tickets in advance (Early Bird) to save time waiting in line and save a little money (Early Bird tickets mean buying park tickets ahead of time, not early entry tickets). We bought through Trip.com for about 1900 THB, prices may vary daily, so check before you go. Weekdays are the cheapest. . Tip 2: If you want early entry, you need to buy Early Entry tickets, which allow entry 90 minutes before the park opens. This is great for those who want to ride all the attractions and take photos without crowds. (Early Entry tickets can be purchased through the Shanghai Disneyland app up to 7 days before your visit.) The price is about 730 THB per person. Ps. We arrived at the park around 6:45 AM. . Tip 3: Download and log in to the Disney Resort app before you leave Thailand. Our friend tried to log in at the park and had issues, but the cast members were very kind and helped until she could log in. . Tip 4: If you want to watch a show, book in advance. We managed our time well; after riding Tron, we went straight to book the show. You need to open the Disney app and scan the QR code at the theater entrance to register. Don’t forget to check the time. We arrived about 15-20 minutes before the show started, so we were among the first in line and got to choose front-row seats. While waiting, you can shop or meet characters since everything is in the Mickey Avenue area. . Tip 5: If someone approaches you after you buy something, don’t be alarmed. Sometimes they offer discounts. We didn’t have an auntie approach us, but we knew about this, so we looked for her instead, haha. Look for an auntie/uncle carrying big shopping bags with someone who doesn’t seem to be with them following. In the end, our group got a 5% discount from the auntie. . Tip 6: We went out to have lunch at Disney Town, where prices are cheaper than inside the park, and there are many restaurants to choose from (keep your ticket because you need it to scan back in). . Tip 7: You can ask to sit in the front row on rides, especially Pirates of the Caribbean. The first time we sat in the back, but on the second round, we asked for the front row. The feeling was totally different—amazing, loved it so much! It’s a must-ride if you come. . Tip 8: On the way there, we took DiDi and got off at the drop-off point, but for the return, we recommend taking the Metro to avoid worries about not getting a DiDi or being scammed by taxis. *After visiting, we realized it’s best to study the Metro locations well so you don’t get lost walking like we did TT. .
