A must-see for cherry blossom viewing at Hongkou Football Stadium! These photo angles avoid the crowds and are amazing

#ShanghaiCherryBlossoms Today at noon, I rode my bike around Hongkou Football Stadium twice and found that the cherry blossoms here are in full bloom, breathtakingly beautiful! The park’s cherry blossom area has crowd control, with the east entrance and southwest exit—make sure not to go the wrong way. Here are some photo tips and routes to share with you: Exit from Hongzu Station, Metro Line 2, Exit 2, walk up the overpass to get a panoramic shot from afar. This leads directly to the football stadium, and there are usually not many people here. Go down the stairs and walk towards Lu Xun Park, queue at the entrance to enter. It’s crowded at the entrance, so walk further inside; it’s less crowded at the corner, then shoot upwards on your way back. If you’re lucky, you can capture a subway train. Further inside, mostly shoot upwards. At noon and in the afternoon, the backlight is good for close-ups. Open your phone’s 3x zoom, increase exposure, and shoot upwards. You can also use portrait mode. Remember to find a good spot and wait for a moment without people to capture the shot. Walk towards Exit 6; the trees on the left are short and close, perfect for group photos or close-ups with a clean background. Exit 6 is the exit, where you can capture the street sign and a screen full of cherry blossoms. After leaving the park, turn right. Use zoom between the exit and the sidewalk outside; along the streetlights, you can capture a whole cherry blossom path. Walk back along the sidewalk towards Metro Exit 3, look to the right, find a good angle to take stunning photos without people in the shot.
