During the day, it's an oasis for travelers, while at night it transforms into a private club for leisure and entertainment. 2. Lounge Passing through the lobby leads to the bar-like lounge, a transition from light to dark, inviting you into happy hour and socializing. Late at night, it takes on another form—a warm fireplace, sofas for intimate or flirtatious conversations. 3. Reception Through the thick pillars, you reach the reception desk and a conference table area, offering a quieter space. Further in lies the elevator to the guest rooms. The EDITION's public areas are functionally diverse and dynamic, embodying Ian Schrager's lively metropolitan social spirit, while JI Hotels typically offer simple waiting and resting areas. II. Atmosphere and Ambiance 1. Lounge: Modern Upper Class The public areas, especially the lounge, use materials like black walnut and oak for the walls and pillars, creating a dimly lit space that promotes relaxation with a touch of mystery. The 26-meter ceiling height balances the darkness, with Eric Schmitt's spherical chandeliers hanging like high-end jewelry, adding a modern and playful touch. Warm light on the royal blue velvet sofas presents a classy atmosphere distinct from W Hotels. 2.
