According to Wikipedia, it was completed and opened in September 1999. The Shanghai Public Security Museum has 10 exhibition halls, namely the Public Security History Museum, the Heroes Hall, the Team Construction Hall, the Security Management Hall, the Criminal Investigation Hall, the Traffic Management Hall, the Prison and Detention Center Hall, the Fire Management Hall, the Police Exchange Hall, the Police Equipment Hall. The museum displays the development history from the emergence of the police agency in Shanghai in 1854, and has collected more than 18,000 pieces since the late Qing Dynasty, of which 49 pieces (sets) are national first-class artifacts.
