The first police-themed museum in China - Shanghai Public Security Museum

The Shanghai Public Security Museum, located at No. 518 Ruijin South Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, is a national second-level museum and the first police-themed museum in China. The exhibition hall of the Shanghai Public Security Museum has four floors. The entire display is based on the development history of the Shanghai police organization as the vertical line, and the police function participates in social management as the horizontal line. Combined with the characteristics of police business work, traditional and modern artistic expression methods are used, and sound, light, and electricity are used. High-tech multimedia technology for display. A total of 11 branch museums have recorded the historical evolution of the establishment of the police organization in Shanghai since the fourth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1854) and the achievements of the public security officers in combating criminal crimes, ensuring economic construction, and maintaining social stability after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
