Zhen Guan Jian - Tang Dynasty History and Culture Exhibition January 23, 2025 - May 5, 2025 Minhang Museum The exhibition is divided into four parts: "The Establishment of the Tang Dynasty," "The Prosperity of the People," "The Splendor of the Silk Road," and "The Legacy of the Golden Age." It features 132 (sets) of cultural relics from the Northern Zhou Dynasty to the mid and late Tang Dynasty, including the epitaph of Yuchi Jingde, the Smiling Lady, painted pottery figurines, and gilded silver pots. It first tells the story of the early Tang Dynasty, when Li Shimin inherited the throne and began the Zhen Guan Reign. Then, it shows the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty in terms of food, clothing, commerce, leisure activities, and culture. It also depicts the prosperity of trade between the East and the West brought by the Silk Road, and the harmony and integration of various ethnic groups. Finally, it writes about the end of the glorious era, and how the Zhen Guan Reign laid the foundation for the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.
