InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland

My first trip of the New Year was to the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland. I checked into the Astronomy-themed room, which I'd been eyeing for a long time. I used the Leyou Shanghai coupons and Pudong coupons for this stay, and ended up paying around 1,930 out of pocket, which I thought was quite a good deal. This InterContinental has been renovated, and the hardware facilities are generally very good. The most surprising thing was that the room had underfloor heating, which was very warm. The mattress was moderately firm, but still a bit small. My child is six years old, and the three of us could barely squeeze in. The soundproofing was good, and it was very quiet at night. The amenities were also generous. Knowing that we had a child with us, they put a set of Little Yellow Duck children's products in the room, and also gave us two pairs of children's slippers and a set of children's toiletries. The Astronomy-themed rooms are all on the first floor in Area C. As soon as we entered the door, we found a huge Lego wall, and my child was overjoyed and played there for a long time. There was also an astronomical telescope in the room, but unfortunately, it wasn't a full moon that day, so we couldn't observe anything. Our room had two balconies where we could see Dishui Lake in the distance. At night, fireworks were set off, and we could see them directly from the balcony. It couldn't have been better. Moreover, the children's play area is right across from the Astronomy-themed rooms, which is very convenient. We didn't want to go out for dinner, so we ate at Cai Feng Lou. We ordered a few dishes à la carte, and they all tasted great. We finished everything. I had seen a lot of complaints about breakfast before, but it wasn't that bad. The restaurant is large, there's a wide variety of food, and the Lanzhou ramen noodles were quite good.
