Shanghai Museum East Hall: Ancient Chinese Bronzes

The Ancient Chinese Bronzes exhibition at the Shanghai Museum East Hall is the most comprehensive exhibition of ancient Chinese bronzes in China and abroad. The exhibition features over 500 pieces, including more than 60 first-class pieces, covering bronze treasures from the late Xia Dynasty in the 18th century BC to the mid-Qing Dynasty in the 19th century. The exhibition is divided into eight sections: the Emergence Period, the Growth Period, the Peak Period, the Transition Period, the Renewal Period, the Integration Period, the Revival Period, and Bronze Making Techniques, comprehensively showcasing the development of ancient Chinese bronzes.
