Longhua Temple | Shanghai

Longhua Temple, known as Longhua Si by the locals, is an ancient temple in Shanghai with a history of over 1,500 years. It is considered the oldest temple in Shanghai and also the largest in terms of area. The temple was built during the Three Kingdoms period by Sun Quan, who intended to dedicate the temple to his mother. Initially, it was named Xiansi Temple before being renamed Longhua.
