Discover a Different Shanghai Shanghai, a charming city, is home to both towering skyscrapers and old streets and alleys. During the holiday, I explored the city and visited Wukang Road, Xintiandi, Tianzifang, Yuyuan Garden, City God Temple, and Sinan Mansions. Each place offered a unique experience. Walking along Wukang Road is like reading a history book. The old houses on both sides of the road are scattered and covered with traces of time. Bathed in sunlight, they exude a simple and charming atmosphere. The famous Wukang Mansion stands quietly, with its European-style architecture and every line and window telling stories of the past. I felt the unique comfort and leisure of Wukang Road. After leaving Wukang Road, I went to Xintiandi. Walking around, I saw old buildings full of historical charm on one side and international restaurants, bars, and boutiques on the other. Here, I tasted delicacies from all over the world and enjoyed the wonderful performances of street artists. In the afternoon, I went to Tianzifang. In the crisscrossing alleys, there are many characteristic shops and art studios. Colorful signs and retro decorations make people feel like they are in a creative art world. At night, I went to Yuyuan Garden and City God Temple. The pavilions in Yuyuan Garden look particularly elegant under the lights, and the ancient buildings and their reflections in the pond complement each other. City God Temple is another lively scene. The snack street is crowded with people, and the aroma of various snacks fills the air. I tasted delicious foods such as pan-fried buns, spare ribs with rice cakes, and crabapple cakes, and my taste buds were fully satisfied. Finally, I went to Sinan Mansions. The place is full of trees and has a quiet environment, with independent garden houses scattered around. I strolled leisurely in the mansions, admiring the buildings in different styles, such as English, French, and Spanish, and felt very comfortable!
