The best accommodation choice for attending exhibitions at Hongqiao, the 'Shanghai Hongqiao Majestic Hotel' is located within the Zhonghe Science and Innovation Park, close to the National Exhibition and Convention Center, and can be reached by walking from the subway. I chose to stay here for one day to visit the exhibition. Although it is not in the city center, it is quite convenient for business travel. The hotel opened in 2021, and the entire room facilities are relatively new, bright, clean, and modern. Since the hotel is in a relatively remote location, the room rates are naturally very cheap. A 35-square-meter city-view superior king room with breakfast costs only NT$2000. Although I didn't use any hotel facilities, the swimming pool and gym are fully equipped. I don't know if it was because of the off-season, but I was upgraded to a suite with a separate living room and sofa area, which was much more spacious, a full 70 square meters. It was a great deal! However, the location is too remote. If it weren't for the exhibition being in the Hongqiao Airport area, I would still prefer to stay near the Bund or Jing'an District, where it's much more convenient for shopping.
