Shanghai Zuibaichi Park

🌟Highlights: Shanghai Zuibaichi Park was originally the private residence of Zhu Zhichun, a Song Dynasty scholar from Songjiang, called Guyang Garden. It is one of the five classical gardens in Shanghai. The inner garden was rebuilt on the site of the old garden during the Shunzhi and Kangxi periods of the Qing Dynasty (1644–1722), and the outer garden was expanded westward in 1958. ❤Recommended reasons: Shanghai Zuibaichi Park covers an area of 5 hectares, with Zuibaichi Pond at its center. The park is surrounded by dense trees, and is a great place to visit in all seasons: peonies in spring, lotuses in summer, chrysanthemums in autumn, and plum blossoms in winter. The park preserves Ming Dynasty buildings such as Zhujiashanfang, Yifang, and Dushutang, and Qing Dynasty buildings such as Chishangcaotang, Baochenglou, Xuehaitang, and Diaohuating. It also houses precious works of art such as the original stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy "Former and Later Ode to the Red Cliff" from the Yuan Dynasty, and the "Portrait of Yun Jian Bang Yan" stele from the Qing Dynasty.
