Rodin: The Origin of Modern Sculpture Sep 28, 2024–Dec 31, 2024 Rodin Art Center The exhibition is divided into 6 main chapters and 2 special chapters, bringing together 106 works of sculpture, painting, ceramics, and video. Among them are national treasures from the Musée Rodin in France, such as The Thinker, The Age of Bronze, Eve, Balzac, and The Burghers of Calais, which are highly influential and representative works in the art of sculpture. The clay versions of these works are on display in Shanghai for the first time. About 30 works are from 17 artists closely related to Rodin, and 16 Chinese artworks collected by Rodin himself are also on display. Each work has a QR code that can be scanned to listen to the guide and learn about the story behind the author and the work.
