Zui Bai Chi Jian Shan Hall | Gu Dashen Life Exhibition

🌟 Highlights: Zui Bai Chi was originally a private garden. It was named "Zui Bai Chi" because Gu Dashen, a Langzhong of the Ministry of Works in the Qing Dynasty, admired Bai Juyi's literary talent and imitated Han Qi to build a hall on the pool. For more than three centuries, later generations knew little about Gu Dashen's life. It was not until 2016 that Liu Fengqiao, a contemporary collector and scholar, sorted out and published the only existing copy of the "Chronicle" compiled by Gu Dashen himself, that the historical and garden circles learned about his extraordinary life experience. ❤ Recommended reason: At the end of 2021, Zui Bai Chi held a "Gu Dashen Life Exhibition" based on the "400th Anniversary of Gu Dashen's Birth Poetry and Calligraphy Exhibition" held the previous year, which condensed the textual research and research of scholars over the years, as well as the existing literary and artistic creations of Gu Dashen, into a "Gu Dashen Life Exhibition", allowing citizens and tourists to have the opportunity to know him and get close to him. The seal replica of the "Gu Dashen Life Exhibition" in the Jian Shan Hall is located in the "Jian Shan Hall" in the inner garden of Zui Bai Chi, which was built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty.
