I recommend my favorite place to see fall foliage in Shanghai. 📍Qiuxia Garden - [Fall Foliage Guide] 🍁Time: I recommend early to mid-December. The photos were taken around December 3, 2023. This year, the temperature dropped later, so you can go a few days later. The maple leaves will be more colorful during this time. 🍁Tickets are CNY 10. The park is open from 8:00 to 16:30. I recommend going when the park opens. The park is small, and there will be a lot of people if you go later (seniors can enter for free before 8:00). 🍁Be sure to go on a sunny day. The morning light shining through the trees is beautiful! 🍁Qiuxia Garden is small. The best spots are around the lake: 1⃣️Take photos on the bridge surrounded by maple leaves. 2⃣️Sit on the same side of the lake as the photographer. 3⃣️Sit on the opposite side of the lake from the photographer. You will need a telephoto lens. 4⃣️Take photos of the buildings by the lake with a frame composition. - [Transportation Guide] 🚇The closest subway station is Jiading North Station on Line 11. You will need to take a taxi or bus from there. 🚗I recommend driving.
