Xuhui Riverside is the first urban public open park in Shanghai built with the concept of overall development of riverside landscape, with a total shoreline of 3.6 km and an area of 24 hectares, from Rihui Port in the north to China Aviation Oil Depot in the south. It is built with modern urban waterfront landscape as the core, and connects the history of Huangpu River with the present and future of Xuhui through the protective renovation or reconstruction of historical buildings along the river.
