Shanghai Fuxing Island - Time stands still here.

🎯Fuxing Island with a story Fuxing Island is the only closed inland island on the Huangpu River in Shanghai. It was originally named Zhoujiazui Island. ➡️In 1926, the Shanghai Dredging Bureau dredged and filled the beach to form the island and established a foreign sports club. ➡️In 1937, after the August 13 Incident, the Japanese invaders occupied the entire island and converted the sports club garden into a Japanese-style garden. ➡️In 1947, after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, it was returned to the Dredging Bureau and renamed Fuxing Island. ➡️In 1951, Fuxing Island Park was opened to the public. The sports club of that year is now the Yangpu Binjiang Party and Mass Service Station. ✔️How to play: The park is not big but it has a long history. The camphor and plane trees are towering, and the pavilions and cherry blossom forest🌸 are very Japanese. There are few tourists, and the cats in the park are leisurely sunbathing, as if it is a paradise. If you have time, Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park and Shanghai International Fashion Center are also nearby. ✔️Nostalgic tour: Time seems to stand still on Fuxing Island. I haven't been here for decades, and Fuxing Island in my memory is still the same. If you want to see the old industrial style of Yangpu, Shanghai in the past, you can go and feel it. There is a Dinghai Ferry nearby, which has remained the same for decades, and you can take a ferry to Gaomiao, Pudong. 🚘How to get there: Take Line 12 of the subway and walk a few hundred meters to get there. The park does not have a parking lot, so you need to find a place to park by yourself.
