Under the plane trees on Shaanxi North Road, each gate has a historical story. Ho Tung Mansion is located at No. 457 Shaanxi North Road. Ho Tung was the richest man in Hong Kong after the opening of the port. Stanley Ho, the king of gambling in Macau, is Ho Tung's grandnephew; Hong Kong philanthropist and collector Ho Hung-chiu is his grandson. The Ho family he founded is also the first family in Hong Kong. This is also designed by Wudak, and it is a work of Wudak when he was still working in the Klee Company. The main building is a brick-wood-stone mixed structure. The south facade of the residence has a veranda on the ground floor, and there are niches on both sides of the veranda. There are 4 Ionic columns running through the two floors. Above the main entrance on the east side are two groups of double wall columns, with arched balconies between the columns and cast iron decorative railings. Because the museum is holding a photography exhibition, I couldn't visit it. The back of the mansion is a very characteristic building, a three-story building with all-glass exterior walls. The first floor is a coffee shop, the second floor is a flower shop, and the third floor is a photo with studio. Many young people are taking photos and checking in. The second floor of the white building is a large empty house with large glass windows. It is preparing to hold a flower art show. It is too niche and fashionable.
