I'll stay at this hotel next time I'm in Shanghai. It's good and not expensive!!!

Ritz-Carlton||This is the fourth hotel I've stayed at in Pudong. I stayed for 4 nights. Let's talk about my experience~ Breakfast: The pastries and noodles are delicious. The fruit danish, chestnut danish, donuts, and wontons are my favorites. Paired with a hot latte, it's a perfect blend of Chinese and Western food. The restaurant also has a great view! Room: I stayed in a 50 sqm room. It didn't feel very big. The bathtub and bathrobe were a plus. The decor might not be my style. It's more of an old Shanghai style. Pool: The pool is quite small. I stayed at the Kempinski before and I think their pool is better (but the Kempinski's breakfast was a letdown~) I'm going to check out the rooftop bar tonight. I had a better view. There's a cloakroom at the entrance, then the bathroom, and then the living space. The large floor-to-ceiling windows face south and offer views of the city of Chengdu. The furniture and decorations are a bit traditional and solemn, which I like. The bathroom and living area are completely separate. This way, my wife and I don't have to worry about disturbing each other when we wash up in the morning and at night (my wife gets up early). Plus, the room doesn't feel damp at all. I care a lot about quietness and dampness. This room gets full marks in this regard. The room service is also good. The welcome fruit was grapes and spicy cashews. Overall, the spiciness of the food at Langqiao is just right for me and the numbness is comfortable. I don't usually eat Sichuan food, not because it's spicy, but because it's oily. It always feels like I'm drinking oil. Although Langqiao also uses a lot of oil, it's still okay to eat and doesn't make me feel like it's too oily. If we're not talking about cost performance, I highly recommend this place.
