A Serene Jiangnan Garden in Shanghai/Shenyuan

Shenyuan is a garden located within the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park, representing Jiangnan culture. Covering a total area of 5 hectares, the garden features mountains, water, houses, and bridges, arranged into the North Mountain, South Water, East Garden, and West Garden. The mountains are surrounded by water, and the architectural complex showcases the traditional style of Jiangnan gardens from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Shenyuan focuses on constructing eight scenic spots, including 'Drunken Red Reflecting Summer,' 'Old House at Dusk,' 'Spring Full of Jade Hall,' 'Spring Flow of Pine and Stone,' 'Melodious Fragrance,' 'Rainy Mist of Penglai,' 'Autumn River Sunset,' and 'Lotus Breeze and Fish Joy.' It creates a classical Jiangnan garden in a modern space, expressing the charm of Jiangnan and inheriting its spirit.
