Shanghai Hemu Village

The 1450-square-meter 'Hetian Mushu' was transformed from a traditional farmer's self-built house. Without altering the main structure, Wang Shouwei and his partners moderately renovated the entire courtyard in a wabi-sabi style, retaining the ancient simplicity of Jiangnan. The sky-view courtyard, combined with specialty dining such as coffee, hotpot, and light meals, quickly became a new popular check-in spot on 'Hemu Water Street.' Utilizing rural residences and combining local cultural and natural resources for renovation, different from traditional rural tourism, the 'Red Bean·Hemu Source' project, composed of coffee, tea tasting, exquisite dining, and health services, has established a new pattern for today's 'Hemu Water Street.'
