Wang Yiting Art Exhibition

Wang Yiting (1867-1938), a renowned calligrapher, painter, industrialist, and social activist active in Shanghai during modern Chinese history, was also a rare talent in Chinese art history who shone both in commerce and art. Wu Changshuo presented a poem to Wang Yiting: 'Heaven and earth are amazed at the birth of Yiting, with a brush that casts iron and ink as cold as rain.' Mr. Wang Yiting's painting themes were extensive, and he was the leader of the Shanghai School of painting following Wu Changshuo. Exhibition location: Shanghai School Art Gallery, 2nd floor, Room 2.
