Shanghai's must-visit Yuyuan Garden

☘️ It's recommended to take the subway here, just a few hundred meters from Yuyuan Station on Line 10, driving is not really advised. ☘️ Yuyuan Garden is located inside the Old City God Temple area, it's suggested to come in the afternoon and spend 2-3 hours strolling around Yuyuan Garden, then visit the City God Temple. Yuyuan Garden requires an admission fee, you can either scan a QR code to buy tickets with your phone or purchase on-site with your ID card. ☘️ Yuyuan Garden was built during the Jiajing and Wanli periods of the Ming Dynasty, and is a characteristic classical garden of the Jiangnan region. The garden houses the famous 'Jade Exquisite', one of the three famous rocks of Jiangnan, as well as more than forty ancient buildings such as the Sui Hall, Iron Lion, Kuai Lou, and Deyue Lou. Scanning a QR code inside or following Yuyuan Garden's official WeChat account can provide you with an electronic tour map, and there's a tour guide audio introduction for each scenic spot on the map as you reach them! ☘️ After leaving Yuyuan Garden, you can stroll around the City God Temple. The lanterns overhead will light up at night, which are very beautiful to see. If you go during the Lantern Festival, you might also encounter a beautiful lantern fair. The life-effect lantern sets in the central square and the flowing cup lanterns on the Jiuqu Square are all worth seeing!
